CONSCIOUS BREATHING
Breathing…. All our life we are surrounded by air; it could be said that we are in the air as if in the ocean. We breathe all our life, and that is why air becomes nearly unnoticeable for us. Therefore we may sometimes find it hard to image that power and energy that is inherent in it… Yet, if we draw attention to it we will find out that the power that carries breathing in itself has been discussed in an absolute majority of teachings, from the ancient ones to modern medicine. Thus, if we start breathing consciously, smoothly, combining breathing out with breathing in (this is the way infants are breathing…), we will inhale not only air – breathing this way we will start to inhale energy.
Quite often a human life becomes similar to riding in a car which glasses are covered with dirt and the driver can faintly see where he is heading. Sometimes the obstacles encountered and the shocks experienced change the direction, yet afterwards the scenario repeats again almost in a blindfold manner, and sometimes we can be lucky. In the course of time man becomes increasingly uptight in such a car since he does not understand what is going on, and in fearful anticipation of new shocks he starts feeling like a victim of this situation. The driver in the car is man in life…, the dirt on the glass are the impurities in the human consciousness of all those negative emotions and experiences that have happened in our lives from the very birth (and also during the time of birth!) and currently obscure the view to see clearly our way in this world… How does it happen?
When we experience any emotion our breathing changes its rhythm, intensiveness, amplitude, i.e. our different emotions get expressed in different ways of breathing. At the time we experience the strongest emotions we frequently stop breathing (we are “out of breath” or our mind becomes transfixed) out of fear, anger, etc. During the moment of grasping for breath negative experiences are recorded in the man’s energy body; therefore they may stay for long even if no longer we remember or are aware of those experiences. Meanwhile a particular quality energy vibration will have an effect on man’s consciousness all the time, and will determine the types of man’s behavior, including his reactions and actions in the world, his decisions, priorities and his life..! This way as if a skewed mirror is formed in man’s consciousness precluding from adequate understanding and awareness of oneself and the world surrounding us. If during the experience of negative emotions we do not stop breathing and stay in conscious attention to breathing, breath in and out smoothly and consciously, the strenuous emotional moments will be purged by a continuous flow of inhaled energy and will not affect our structures.
Since old times people are used to take care of their physical body hygiene: to have a shower, to brush teeth, to change clothing. Nowadays, when it could be stated that science has already proved that man is composed of not only a physical, but also of an energy level constituent, what do we do to maintain the cleanliness of our energy body? Living in our society people get tired from emotional stress quite quickly. And most frequently they try to get rid of stress drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes, taking tranquilizers, etc. what gives them a sense of temporal liberation, yet in fact builds up more poison in their bodies. This is understandable – people feel stress and pain in the emotional body and look for ways to get free from that.
Energy breathing is as if clear water for the man’s emotional body; it cleans him with its flow, cures him, strengthens him and revitalizes him again. As a result, a door to self-confidence, authenticity, uniqueness is opened for that man. This is a true way to disclose your innate talents and aptitudes. They are in everyone, yet frequently they may not be manifested due to internal limitations created by negative emotions and experiences, lack of support, love, or lack of understanding on part of the parents. When breathing consciously, this ailing layer is skinned out with the flow of inhaled energy, and dissolves.
We can choose for ourselves and inhale particular quality energy that we lack, and make it hundreds times stronger, more pronounced and harmonious as a result of breathing practices. Harmonious well-being - this is what an absolute majority of people talk after a breathing session. The ability to love and the ability to accept love… inner beauty and physical beauty… Harmony – as a quality of internal space and surrounding environment, an ability to create …- this and many other things reside in EVERYONE of us… How often this is covered by indifference and anger with the world and with oneself as a result of numerous negative emotions – fear, pain, or a sense of exclusion. Yet the energy inhaled is so powerful and divine, that it may potentially change a lot in the man, free him from what is unneeded and bring beauty into his life.
